Showtune

Hello, everybody! Meet Showtune, my Teen Titans OC!

For those who've seen some of the earlier pics in my gallery, she may look an aweful lot like Headphones Girl [link] and you would be right! I kinda took her design sorta when I started thinking of a design for my TT OC, and I hadn't done anything with Headphones Girl yet, so here's the updated version, you could say.

Okay, time for a little bit of info! Showtunes is named so because due to an unfortunate accident, she can no longer speak. However, instead of, like, normal talking noises and such coming out of her mouth, music and songs do. Kinda like Bumblebee in Transformers, although, to my credit, I created this character idea before ever seeing the movies or anything even related to Transformers. But yeah. But she can only spew those songs/parts of songs that are/were on her iPod (that'll be explained later), which, a lot of them happen to be showtunes, hence her name. So piecing together a coherant conversation is kinda slow going, and she gets kinda frustrated by that.

As another part of her accident, she was severely electrocuted, and it kinda melded her with music, 'cause she'd been listening to her iPod with the music up loud, so she can kinda manipulate music and sound around her too. Like, change the volume or 'cause an amp/speaker to blow or 'cause your ears to ring or literally get a song stuck in your head (maybe joking 'bout that last one. not sure yet)

Oh! Her right eye is hazel, which was her normal eye color, but her left eye is kinda an electric blue (as are teh streaks in her hair) as a result of the electrocution, and (again this'll be explained more later) her left eye can now kinda 'see' music. the soundwaves, and if you look into her left eye when she's choosing teh music on her headphones, you can see like, a reverse iPod screen in it because that's how she sees the music in her internal database.

Personality wise, she's kinda shy and a recluse, and a little nerdy. She likes sci-fi (not obsessively, but enough to buy bits of costumes and stuff) and when just walking around, she wears boots and a brown coat like from the show Firefly (like in teh upper left picture). She also loves strawberries.

Her chosen weapon is... the yo-yo. Which, btw, were in fact used as hunting implements at some point in the past, if my facts are straight. But she's tinkered with them a bit so they can have different features when she's fighting. 'Cause, you know, she's a Teen Titan, and that's what they do... fight crime.. yeah. They can either have speakers, which are good for normal listening or sonic boom type soundwaves to knowck people backwards, blades (ouch), they could be bombs (they'd detach from teh string first) or it could just be, like, solid iron or metal or something so that it just does some damage. yeah.

I have no idea if that makes any sense, but I promise that once i have the time, I'll write her 'origin' story
